Sarah Albritton's Bio:

On stage, Sarah Albritton is a ball of comedic energy. Off stage, she needs medicine to stay awake. Described by the Chicago Tribune as "vulnerable and honest", Sarah's stand-up combines observational humor and personal stories with her unique perspective on living with narcolepsy. She has performed in the Cleveland Comedy Festival, Funny Women's Fest LA. Gilda's Laughfest and performed on the Kill Tony Podcast at the Comedy Store. Additionally, she has performed at the WIP Theater, Zanies Chicago, Wisecrackers, The Annoyance, iO, The Playground and Under the Gun Theater, among others. When she isn't sleeping, she performs stand-up, solo and sketch comedy throughout the city of Chicago. She recently launched her podcast, Sleeping with Sarah, where she interviews people in her bed and they talk about sleep, dreams, life and comedy. You can also view the videos on her YouTube channel. She's also the creator and co-producer of Secrets, Lies & Alibis, a variety comedy show that takes inspiration from audience secrets to create new sketches and performed the first Tuesday of the month at Elbo Room in Chicago.  Additionally, she collaborates with the video sketch group, Hands on Tacos, writing, performing and filming short comedy sketches. Before venturing into the world of comedy, Sarah got her start performing serious theater in Louisville, KY with Walden Theater and became a graduate of NIU School of Theater and Dance and British American Drama Academy. Since moving to Chicago, she's completed iO training program, Second City Conservatory, Annoyance Theater program and taken too many writing workshops to name here. Additionally, Sarah is an advocate for Narcolepsy Awareness. She created a comedic PSA about narcolepsy for Sleep Awareness Week in 2016. She is actively involved in the narcolepsy community and speaks about her personal experiences in her comedy. She is survived by her rescue dog, Happy, who keeps her sane...most of the time.
